SOA Elite Problem Solver Nazir Valani
The SOA challenged Slack and Company to create a series featuring Actuaries as "rockstars" in their field. Along with the SOA we identified 3 major players in the world of Actuaries and told their story in a visual format outside the typical talking head video. What we developed are 3 mini documentary style videos that highlight each FSA's path to Fellowship, visually bringing their stories to life. There was concern in telling Nazir’s story, thinking his intro might be too intense, but we fought for it and I’m glad it was included. Series was a 2019 Silver Davey Awards winner for Documentary.

Discover - 4 Types of Bank Accounts
Davey Awards Gold Winner for Animation - Imagination worked with Discover to apply its recently refreshed brand identity to a new series of animated videos. This was an exciting venture for Discover as Imagination would be the first to bring their new illustration style to life in video! The first video in the series is “4 Different Types of Bank Accounts to Help Your Money Grow,” which provides an engaging overview of a few fundamental bank accounts that every person should know: rewards checking account, online savings account, certificate of deposit and individual retirement account. With original illustrations that fit seamlessly into Discover’s new brand universe, the video is both entertaining and useful for anyone who is just getting started on their financial journey. Imagination worked closely with Discover to ensure that every new illustration guideline was followed while also defining how it would come to life in the future of video for the company. Throughout the animations we used complimentary transitions, relevant sound effects and design elements that built off of their new look and feel to create this new chapter of video animation for Discover.

Midwest Composite Technologies
Tour and Capabilities Hero Video for MCT. Unlike their competitors, MCT is capable of all stages of your 3D printing production. After an in depth facility tour we realized their consumers needed the same. We learned a facility visit would typically seal the deal on a new partnership after seeing their impressive setup. While on this shoot we were also tasked with capturing studio photography of all prototypes and capability samples, as well as candid floor photography for the website.
